Taught Not To Cry

by OddOne   Oct 21, 2010

When I was growing up I was taught not to cry...
And now that your dead I don't know what emotion to show.
People thought I didn't care when i just stared at your lifeless face...
but they didn't know that I was hurting the most.
Please forgive me...
I loved you with every ounce of my being
but when your death came all I was filled with was regrets... Regrets to love you more...
and more...
and more...
until my love for you would pour out as hot thundering tears down my cheeks...
So then in heaven you could see all the love I had for you in ways I couldn't express before.

I love you grandma
rest in peace
