Stand her ground.

by Valerie   Oct 26, 2010

Hear her voice. Hear her breath.
she tries to gasp for air
He pulls to the roots of her hair
Will her life be spared?
Somebody cry for her
As a friend you owe her, help her flea help her be
Fly away like a bumble bee
Does he feel any bit of guilty?
Does she have any bit left of dignity?
she screams to the top of her lungs
I'm 18, I'm still young
Oh please don't let him take her away
Stand her ground, give him a good pound
All the bruises and the lies
Just look past the suit and the ties
She still has sparkles in her eyes
Hold her hand
Bandage her up and help her stand
she cant be stuck here
she needs you there to protect her from her fear
Her mind is such a mess
she wishes she was perfectness
Such helplessness
she was bless
Blessed by you
Life needs people true, people like you
she don't need a sorry, she needs glue, tape anything to fix this broken heart
shes in need of a lift, someone to hold her close
Not just to pose it has to be something you chose
These tears are drowning deep
Open wounds bleed
Once her life is over she won't be a prisoner
Stressed nor in pain
She can then step out of this abused list
She only coexist, dismissed from this abyss
Protect her from his fist
I insist, don't resist this girl who was never kissed.
Start over from the Baptiste
Where it was pure and she exist.
