Sad Love

by theory of the loser   Nov 2, 2010

Watching you, looking over my notebook,
Through my hair,
No one seems to notice I'm here,
Sometimes I wonder,
What's left as I see you with her.

I know how you are,
as I watch from afar,
I know what I'd be getting into,
know that it could kill me,
hurt me at my core,
I don't care,
I'd let you hurt me some more.

My friends ask me why,
they don't understand,
why a shy, loving girl like me,
would fall for a guy like that,
how I would follow you,
take the blame before you knew,
before the principal got a hold of you,
how if you were cornered I try to save you,
why my heart goes out,
why there was never a doubt that,
I love you.
