Mistyness

by theory of the loser   Aug 20, 2012

There is mistyness in our quarters,
a separation we had yet to see,
eyes are watching us now, our every move,
witnessing our undoing,

Trying to keep it together,
the doors are starting to leak,
those eyes are watching steadily now,
I can tell, they no longer peak,

Innocence is being taken today,
As once florished, everything turning grey,
there's a blackness closing in now,
we try to hide it, even you keep the glowering down,

Those eyes that watch are sad,
they only see us as we were, not as we are,
how can we ourselves not see,
through the mistyness that now surrounds us,
so we can once again be a true and happy family.

This is a fairly well written poem. It confused me a little, but that's nothing out of the ordinary. Good job. ((4))

Thank you so much for your comment!! <3 it's about the thoughts of devorce in the mind of a couple with children watching, and how they can no longer keep it hidden from them.
