House of the Fallen

by Lex   Nov 8, 2010

Now here I stand, in the house of the fallen.
Repairing my heart, and I hear you calling.

You call to the guard, the guard of the gates.
To let you inside, where my soul awaits.

But here now I rule, and here now I'll stay.
I'll never run back to you, never or today.
Blackened and broken, I sit on this thrown,
Gathering the hearts full of pain that I know.
I know this is hard for you, but please stop calling.
For I've found my place, in the house of the fallen.

I walk down the hall, the pictures change as I pass.
Images of you stare, from behind every glass.

And you scream out, to me now.
Trying to get me to, come out to you somehow.

But here now I rule, and here now I'll stay.
I'll never run back to you, never or today.
Blackened and broken, I sit on this thrown,
Gathering the hearts full of pain that I know.
I know this is hard for you, but please stop calling.
For I've found my place, in the house of the fallen.

I fell for you, then I fell to my knees.
I gave you my sword, and you made me bleed.
You broke my heart, now if you'd only see.
The house of the fallen, is the last place for me.
