Holding Onto Hope

by Taylor   Nov 17, 2010

So here's my letter to the burden in me
Handing in the brighter side of this controversy
It's time to look forward, not at the floor
Pushing back my reasons to cry anymore

Grass can be green on any side
As long as you face the fate with pride
Smile on my face, here comes the world
Ready to peg its worse at this fragile-boned girl

I'm stronger now, depression is fading
Love or live, I'm still contemplating
Ready to see the light again
No need for pain when I've got my friends

Some things I'd fix, if only I could
And if I could turn back time, trust me I would
But everything happens for a reason, and we learn
Misery and regret are meant to be burned

So here I am, gradually recovering to okay
For once in a while, I'm looking forward to the day
This feeling is tangible, almost good enough to taste
But that's what happens when you always keep faith
