Night Sky

by xWitheredShadowx   Nov 27, 2010

What happens to the Night Sky
When you find that your heart has died

Does it disappear or become dull
Or does it sparkle like a crystal blue pool

You lay on the soft, rich, green grass and gaze
As the stars sparkle and flare up you reflect upon your greatest days

The crisp October wind blows across your cheek
Soon you find it, the wind to be but mere bleak

You wipe the dried tears from your eyes
While you scream out your last goodbyes

You slowly fade away into the dark
Like a pedophile creeping in a park

As you drop yourself from the gift we call life
You slowly stab yourself with a small pocket knife

What happens to the Night Sky
When you find that YOUR heart has died
