I'll never see you again
Not with these eyes
Through these tears
Trapped inside this pain

I'll scribble futile words
Purging my angst
Regurgitating my loss on paper
Until it heals

Two strangers loved
Now two strangers part
A wave of evolution
Drowning their souls

I'll never see you again
Unless lost in my memories
My heart no longer knows
This reflection in my eyes
