Nobody's Home

by Lucy Lewin   Dec 5, 2010

I'm walking through this hallway,
All the lights are off.
It's silent, it's dark, it's lonely.
Nobody's home.

Trying each door
Only to find them all locked.
I'm stuck in this hallway of terror,
Alone inside my head.

There's no light at the end of the tunnel for me this time.
I'm enclosed in this dark, lonely place.
Screaming so loud, but only I can hear me.
Nobody's home. Nobody to save me.

No secret doors,
No escapes.
Just darkness, silence; just me.
All alone in this hallway.
All alone in my head.
All alone in my death.
