My missing prince

by Mary Daphne   Dec 13, 2010

The prince in my dream once reappear,
of sudden moment, my heart was in tear,
words came out murmurs are so unclear,
thine heart filled with hope and vanishing fears.

with the blink of an eye, mem'ries rewind,
and things were there, in thy princess' mind,
a diary unwritten hidden behind,
with lingering caress were able to find.

the sweetest smile with the brightest ray,
a wish upon a star, thy princess pray,
beautiful voice could hardly say,
"what else would be greatest than this special day?"

the softest hand with the sweetest smell,
clicks each string with sound overwhelming and well,
this story might end too soon to tell,
of thy name easiest to speak and spell.

the bitter-sweet past of this royal story
will repeat its tale if meant to be,
the story of which i hope to see,
the tale of my beautiful prince and me.
