Tale of a pearl

by Mary Daphne   Jul 30, 2008

Once there was a lonely girl
who lives in the darkness like a pearl
under the ocean, hiding from the world
unable to whisper her unspoken words

a simple girl who carries a beauty within
can't shine as bright for her tale was so mean
unforgettable pain she had from him
like a word of no light only a dim

so she closed her heart from any man
'cause the hatred in her heart began
but a knight knocked & open her door
and when she faces him,her eyes are still sore

a new hope of love started to grow
yet pain will come, it's sure to know
for this man she loved was not the right
;cause one of her friends was in his sight

another wound, another pain & timeless cries
One promise was bent the time she tried
But surely it gives a smile in her face
because in his heart, she had a place

though during our time, i was often hurt
our moments together, i felt, that living is worth
Now its over! I'm glad we made each other smile
and that we made our tale once in a while

This is a beautiful describtion of sad love story. Lonely beauty in her castle under the sea... When she didn't know how sweet was love, he was not missing it...But then after knowing...the pain in her is much bigger...

Yes...you smile because it happened...even for a moment... But this story is too sad... It is hard to bear this situation... Time will make heart stronger...but never erase the sadness away...
