I see you

by Cate Rock   Dec 21, 2010

Eyes meet...
Eyes part...
Looking for those sweet eyes...
The eyes who spark.

Deep in the dark...
Hidden secrets of the heart.

He is gone and now I'm blind.

Blind to prince charming...
Vision on the beast...
Kissing snow white...
wont save her now...to say the least.

Drowning in a river
ran dark from blood.
Screaming becoming clearer...
A shark from the river's mud.

Death is apparent and he saves me at last...
Only to drowned again...oh how quick and fast.

Why save me?
Why not love me as a monster?
When you know I loved every side of you.
Even the worst of it my love stayed pure and true.

While I mended my heart the creature rolled the dice.
When I step in...when I stepped in twice.
Broke my heart with a few common words...
Between this world and the next my feelings always herd.

Now everything is poison...
The use in waking up in the morning is lost...
and January creeps on in...

I see you now...in my dreams...
I call to you but I'm speechless it seems...

I made my own monster and hes here with me...
Sleeping in my bed. The evil seeps within me.

This monster lingers in my mirror
and in the reflective drawn bath...
She stairs back at me while I contemplate the undo able.
She screeches while I sleep.

I see you now...what we could have been...
What was true what was right what was lost...
and then the Catherine Wheel begins to spin.

Death should come swiftly when January comes...
Past all this denial, the realization comes then.

Ill see you then...in one hell or another...
Ill hold you then...in one paradise or our our own...

Well be together again...I'll see you again.
