My New Year's Resolution

by Lauren Waszkiewicz   Dec 23, 2010

I just want to sink into a corner and not move for a year.
Have my heart cease to beat, and my eyes cease to tear.
I wish to hibernate, for all of two-thousand and eleven.
Forget about life on Earth, pretend like I'm in heaven.
My New Year's Resolution, is for you to forget I exist,
To move on with your life, find love, and do not resist.
