Thousand miles

by Justin   Dec 23, 2010

A thousand miles lay between us,
The sun and the moon separates us,
I see you in a myriad of images
Still I feel I have known you for ages.

As day dawns for me you go to sleep,
Thousand miles of land and sea,
I cross for you each time I close my eyes,
Feel you in my smiles as I feel you in my sighs.

I pass my days in the anxiety of each hour,
When I will hear you knock on my door,
Thousand miles away as you wait for my return
Lot of stories to tell and lot many pages to turn.

As I sleep I dream of the times I am with you,
I feel strangely drawn close, wonder if its true,
So far are we and yet so close forever and ever,
Thousand miles between us sometimes don't matter.
