She's An Artist.

by Sincerly Rachel   Dec 24, 2010

Alone in her room she stands
paint brush held firmly in her hands
as she draws a line down her wrist
wondering why she exists.

all of the pain
just runs throughout her every vein
in this sickening game.

all the pain
the suffering
the hollowness she feels
it's in the art she draws on her wrist,
it's all revealed.

she loves the feeling
of finally being in control of that one thing
the way it actually makes her feel like a human being.

she's never been normal;
she just doesn't belong
like a discordant song.

all it takes is one more deep line
and she'll be just fine
it's all she's been wanting
with everyone's teasing and taunting. .

she has given in,
she let the darkness win.
now she says goodbye
to her life of lies.
