The Sun-Glass Effect

by Dino Dhamphyr   Dec 28, 2010

Dog day mid-summer
I dreamed a world of
Obstacles abound, all around
I'm bleeding for love dear sweet turtle dove
Like the jagged edge of a sword
That severed my heart, to this world
I am...
Damaged, cut, scar'd, forever wounded
The one who fear cries in agony
But the truth, we shall only see
As I sit and wait for thee,
I shall not start to compare
As I'm...
Standing at the watery edge of peaceful horizons
Beyond the tall grass
Defining the horizon
Peaking tops, Peaking out
Between the sea and sky
Giving my all to
Whomever beauty is held high
Like the suns golden spotlight...
That glistens far off across the bays grass
Their thin shapes shimmer
Dancing in the light
Nothing but love, no more war
A sky full of promise by far
As the rose sun sets on
Thoughts that drift along
"Nothing is ever what it seem"
Yet...
The water has a copper glaze
The sun-glass effect..
