This Poem Sucks.

Muffled screams break the silence
as the razor glides over skin,
this is not what I intended,
I swore to you I wouldn't give in.

Broken dreams lay shattered,
memories fade into the dark,
giving up has never been so easy,
death has left its mark.

Saying goodbye is the hardest,
knowing it's something you don't want to hear,
it's time for something to change,
but that's my biggest fear.
