My heart is hollow and in pain
Burning tears flow through my veins
Untamed emotions haunt me all day
I smile, but the one that laughs is my dismay
I question myself, have I gone insane ?
Although acidic, I still bath in this rain.
I surf on the waves of time that failed
I question; why only my paths had to derail ?
But child of this universe I am, I know
As much as stars and trees,
Bound could be my heart, but my spirit is dancing and free.
And even as I know in darkness my shadow is lost
I AM STILL ME AND WITH ME.
