Hide it

Hold strong to what you believe in,
and trust only you,
and hope to not be struck down, is all you can do.
fingers crossed tightly and hopes held up high,
when it all comes crash down,
right in front of your eyes.
Shocked and so stunned, to a severe degree, looking to the Sky's,
with a silent helpless plea.
just a false smile, and keep a steady voice,
if you dont want them to know, you dont have much of a choice.
the silence whispers viscous words, causing you to see,
what your subconscious has left unheard. what it wants to free.
the beat of your heart fills your ears, thinking of things,
that could bring your eyes to tear.
put a rush to your step, to your attention it brings fear.
making you wish you weren't here.
A bottom lip trembles, and you fall with grace,
hiding the tears that are staining your face.
As you try to block the memories, that are causing you much
pain, all the pictures flood threw your brain.
slowing losing grip on life,
finding hope to blood stained knifes,
imagining a note on the bottom of a glass,
drink me now, drink me fast.
slowly sobriety loses its touch,
to them its alot, but you just begun.
On a band wagon thats marked
Insanity or bust,
falling temptation to misery's lust.
Stained with scars, and yourself
well marked, what a road for a
young girl to embark.

    'Stained with scars, and yourself

This had to be the best part of this poem.
    As horrible--as its meaning, you
    nailed it to the core.
