Dream Come True

While taking the journey
from being a topper to a failure;
I've experienced so many things,
held back so many tears.

When friends move apart,
moving on in life...
When happiness dies,
& happy memories come alive.

When these happy memories
make you feel sad,
When you feel so lonely
& you feel so bad...

When you sit in a corner,
searching for a reason or two...
When deep inside your heart
you know the blame is on you.

When the silence that follows
when you fail to pass,
Is louder than the applause
for being the topper in class.

Mind full of questions,
Heart full of sorrow...
I go to sleep
Praying for a better tomorrow.

In my dream I see ppl
Shouting words at me;
They say I'm a nobody
Who they don't wanna see.

When the morning sun rises;
& the rays of hope
fall on my face...
I open my eyes to a new beginning
trying to forget
the bad old days.

With my new-found confidence
I'm sure I will rise;
Overcoming every hurdle
No matter how big in size.

Today I might be a nobody
Or a good-for-nothin to you,
But I believe I'm a Dream...
