Won't be replaced

Baby Theo, you are deceased
But you will forever rest in peace
Lets go back to the time you were alive
When grandma and I would take you on car rides
With you and your sister you were the first to go
No one knew what happened, no one will ever know
Why couldn't you live just a little bit longer?
Why couldn't you be a little bit stronger?
I came home to find that you had died
Cupped you in my hands as i looked down and cried
Never having the last days with you, never saying goodbye
But you will never be replaced

Baby Sammy, I fear you're getting old
Living the longest life so brave and bold
Going deaf and going blind
Things for you are hard to find
Grandma said i should spend these days with you
It's almost your time to go, and you know it too
We don't want you to be ignored
But we've noticed you sleep alot more
You can barely walk, you're getting weak
You can't even play, and never squeak
I fear i'll wake up to find you forever asleep
Having those last days with you i will keep
When you're ready and decide to leave
You will never be replaced
