Wishing I was next to you

by honeybump   Feb 22, 2011

Birds chirping on a Saturday morning,
I was laying next to you,
I had my cheeks against your nook,
We laid in bed just nude.
The entire day would pass,
as though a minute had not gone by,
We'd tell each other secrets,
We'd tell each other lies.
We'd clown on our friends,
We'd snuggle to watch crap TV and together we'd be enthused,
Whatever it is we did, we had fun me and you.
But those days are long gone now,
We split, had enough of what we put ourselves through,
Yet every single night, I wish I could wake up next to you.
