He whistled down a lonely road
A road that no one ever walked by
He whistled a tune that no one ever heard
His talent oozed into the darkness
No one to catch his star
As he grew his star it fell
Faster and faster down the well
Faster and faster down to hell
He witnessed fights and battles from a far
Falling faster than his star
He prayed for the day
The day his phoenix would come
His phoenix to help him pave his way
His phoenix to help his star raise
From the ashes of his never-began fame
Raise to heaven and save the world
Save in the name of all that is good
The stop to all evil, he had the gift that could
The boy was given a gift
A gift to share with the world
His voice could lift the world
Give them hope
Give them strength
He never did.
