A Battle Lost

by Rachael   Mar 6, 2011

An angry mob of soldiers attack,
because of a plan intact.
I say I am sorry for their lose,
the lonely battle that was lost.
The drugs and bottle on the floor,
telling myself I cannot take anymore.
Secrets tear at my core,
as it kills me more and more.
An angels face lays now on stone,
begins the rotting to the bone.
Coffins lowered to the ground,
as the souls no longer bound.
Thirteen shots fired around,
as the bodies go down and down.
Into the realm of no sound,
no light to take the darkness away.
As it consumes you,
like its prey.
Rose's tossed apond their graves,
as a reminder of those's who are brave.
