Unpublished Love

Writing is not easy
without an inspiration,
You were the reason
for my determination.

Waited a long time
for our story to be told;
Only now as days pass,
only memories unfold.

Reviewing my life,
looking for a source;
As the list keeps growing
I feel nothing but remorse.

Jotting down our past,
feeling dolor as I read,
Why I hunger for your love
though your heart no longer feeds.
