Her Romeo

by Amanda Ghosties   Mar 28, 2011

She finds herself all alone
Missing the beat of his heart
She never planned to care so much
It shouldn't hurt to be apart

Yet, she sighs deeper still
Remembering his face
The way she felt, wrapped in his arms
As if she found her place

A love so shortly lived, hearts bled
Will it ever be the same??
She cannot fight the feelings she has
Or, ignore this growing pain

Perhaps, in time, she may move on
Though, something begs her not
Her heart whispers, oh so loud,
"You gotta give it all you've got."

"Without this boy, you'll never know
The meaning of true love."
"In your darkest of moments
He rose you up above."

"He saw the you, you longed to be
&& For a moment, you became"
"He saved you from yourself, my dear
You must keep alive this flame."

She understood her heart was right
She couldn't let him go
She was his princess, his Juliet
He was her Romeo.

[[Forgive me, this isn't my best work.. I'm slightly drugged up on cough syrup, 'cause I have a TERRIBLE cold. But, I'm sure this poem should be easy enough to understand. :3]]
