Boulevard

by Ryu   Apr 5, 2011

Driving down the boulevard,
Street lamps fill the sky
A cool breeze lifts the car
In the hustle of downtown boulevard
In it I'll hide

Romance on every corner
Under the pale moon they twirl
Hand in hand they flourish
Smiling from ear to ear
Not a care in the world

Closing in all around me
The laughter they spread
As solitude becomes unbearable
Returning to a tear stained pillow
And another night alone in bed
