Whisper your song.

by WhiskeyGirl   Apr 11, 2011

Tell me once more how it ended.
Whisper your song in my ear.
Come back to salvage your ending.
Catch the sorrow in your tears.
Hold the thoughts that are racing.
Racing like my heart beat for you.
Find all the things you've been searching for.
Tell me everything that you knew.
Fall into my arms crying.
Hear the blade calling once more.
Feel the calming pulse cover you again.
Watch the red fall to the floor.
Feel the sting of the needle.
Come and get high with me again.
So high, we won't remember,
how, or why, or when.
Come back and put on your best fake smile.
Dance with me in the rain.
Kiss me like you mean it.
Go home and put that blade to your veins.
Come back and we'll relive what once was,
Where you left me in a bloody mess.
Watch as I come running again,
And stay until your heart no longer beats in your chest.
Never tell me again how it ended.
Please don't whisper your song in my ear.
I know you can't salvage your ending.
No need to catch the sorrow in your tears
