Little Woman

by Aimee Echo   Apr 15, 2011

*//it's my first poem so it's a little rough

shout to the world
meaningless girl
let it out
shout to the world
your story
before you run out of life
spin the tale of despair
take no prisoners
leave no survivors
show your victory scars
and don't leave a soul untouched
make them weep
little woman
who's hurt runs so deep
show the world who you are
and who you were supposed to be
cry for your past
young thing
paint the world with your anguish
sob for the world
small child
for how it seems
and how it is
for what you know
and what you've seen
and don't forget to wail
little girl
for the children
smaller than you
who see the world
just the same
who've lost much more
and have seen so much
who feel nothing
and think of things
not even the demons in their pasts
could ever think.
