Alone

Sitting here alone
I know this is it. This is the end
I can take this no longer
My heart just cannot mend

I take the knife to my wrists
My cuts big and red
One after another
Soon I will be dead

But that is what I want
I want my life to end
For the inside pain to stop
Loneliness is my only friend

I slice once more
This time it's deep
Blood begins to gush
Soon I will be in eternal sleep

I lay the knife down
I fall to the ground
My breathing is weak
I barely make a sound

I lie there quietly
I see the angels coming for me
This is my fate
My existance ceases to be
