Yes,sweetheart I know
that I've failed many times

that I stood for
what held me back,
yet abstained from standing
for what pushed me forward

that I ignored that which praised my heart.
to chase what never thought of me.

That I've written books about
those who gave me only a page,

yes darling ; I know,
I've been wrong all along

but you can doubt my way of loving
but never doubt that I love~

    ^^ Amazing..i was a bit confused, then read it slowly and it hit me how brilliant I thought it was!

    This whole poem was just lovely Yaki, and somthing a lot of us go through. I for one could really relate to
    "that I ignored that which praised my heart.
    to chase what never thought of me."

    Reminded me of when I chased boys and not chased God...

    such a relateable and great piece girl!

    This is the perfect love poem to me. One thing that really rings true here and everywhere is I can't do everything and I'm not perfect, but I CAN love you. Ohh, beautifully written!

    LOVE this. So sad and incredibly true the way some people are now. So often we give ourselves to those who only like to take. Perfect way to state this feeling and thought :)
