One Day I Slowly Floated Away

by Feride   May 7, 2011

A dismal day I march down a winding road.
The air becomes denser and my feet start to leave the ground.
Deciding that gravity has seized to work today I swim onwards.
Hovering on the edge of reality, inflated and hollow.
I continue on bemused while my thoughts scatter out and tangle on the branches of the trees.
Maybe soon I'll sproat wings and everyone will stare, chanting their belief in me.
The sun, usually blinding, now guiding me.
Struggling through the fogginess and taking a moment to assess the peculiar circumstance that I'm in.
I thunder through the, now blinding, light.
Crashing through into the other side.
