The skin seems thicker underneath her nails,
Deep red sunset bleeds into her eyes,
Fury of a thousand suns burns, and still she hides inside,
The poisoned nitrous pin bruises pale skin,
Blood pools, a half eaten apple, rotting evil lies within,
Amber flecks pierce eyes, popping pills,
This faerie child, the moon swells, brighter still,
Haunted by these dead cracked sighs,
She tries to fly,
And captured by the stars she stays,
An enduring image, of black sun rays.
