Some people were born beautiful, others were born to wish.

by Lily   May 16, 2011

And she'd do anything to be beautiful
to be perfect
to walk down the street with her head held high.
Her mirror is covered to hide the reflection,
of the girl staring back.
The image isn't right, she isn't finished.

And she'd do anything to be beautiful
when she closes her eyes,
she sees a woman of perfection
flawless, a flow of elegance
but then her eyes open, reality kicks in
a vile presence fills the room, her stomach lining forms a knot
the girl in the mirror looks back and cries
she'll never appear as the woman she is inside.

And she'd do anything to be beautiful.
