With His Thunder

by Poet on the Piano   May 17, 2011

-

I sewed my heart back together
on that day you poured yourself unto me,
forcing me to build a plea
with frail hands & senseless knees.

You let me taste your body once more,
keeping the key hidden behind your lips
where I shelter you among my hip
and curl, curve to take a romance's nip.

How you've grown, a love overwhelming,
and yet you are smooth inside
dancing where waterfalls soak tides,
where we join rain movement and slowly abide.
