Tortured dicisions

by Yolande Nel   May 17, 2011

Soft moonlight rested on your face that night
hopelessness lingered in your tired eyes
Your words failed to comfort my worried heart
I knew what you needed and I couldn't provide it
I heard you sighing loudly as you looked back
At the person you once were not to long ago
Broken you stood on the border of staying and leaving
Not knowing which one was best for your delicate soul
deciding felt like a thousand daggers going through you
And all I kept thinking was I longed for your love

Wow, definitely a poem I can relate to. To leave or stay? That has to be one of hardest questions to give an answer to, especially in a good amount of time. Beautiful work!
    Take care
