Moved On

by Kyra   May 18, 2011

I know she doesn't love you
I know she doesn't even care
I know she dosen't understand you
Like the way I did
When you were here

Why don't you get it?
You're blind for her, it seems.
She only wants you for your power
But it'd be different with me

I'm not trying to tear her away
Nor do I want you upset
I simply want you to here the death
Of a nimble heartbroken poet

My strategies are running thin
So is my patience and time
It looks like everybody loves her
But you all just need to open your eyes

She's nothing but a fake.
An attention craving
Type of girl
I'm sorry if you're offended
But, that's just how it is

I'd tell her to her face
She needs to find her own
Even if you do prefer her
I won't be there
When you need to run

The girl you always
Have to run to
When you are in stress
Well, guess what?
I'm gone for now
So just use your
Back-up plan

I guess I have grown up
I see that you have, too
So, I guess I'll take a step
And tell you dead and straight on
That, I, Kyra Rain, have done the right thing and moved on.
