A Mother's Daughter

by Samantha   May 30, 2011

I remember as a child
I use to laugh and play
now all I do is sit around
and donothing all day.
I have tried to come out
of my shell, but I end up
taking a step back.
I have learned from you
that I must always be scared
without a reason why.
I guess this is the price
I must pay for being a
Mother's Daughter.
I have once again tried
to take one step forward
not knowing what could be
right in front of me.
But your still inside
my head telling me
not to.
I have asked myself
why must I be
A Mother's Daughter?
