Darkness

by brittany   Jun 2, 2011

You'll never stop
this layer is thickining
the depths of the dark pulling you down
the evil lakes you've surrounded yourself in
are so deep you can't even get out
sinking in so much sorrow
drowning in your fears
swimming in your own mistakes
the waters of hate deepen
your heart starts to slip
crushed by all the pressure
but you caused it all yourself

and the girl who tried to help you
how could you drag her down?
filled her innocent breath with hate
the kind you cant wash out
sank her into darkness
she kicked free from your grip
and found her way out
but the darkness never leaves you
like a scar it stays for life
leaving traces everywhere
even in the light
