I do not write love poetry, but..

You are the water that quenches my thirst,
the tantalizer who seeks to possess that which is already yours.

You are passion, personified, peeping into my soul,
glimpsing the essence of me.

You are not what I want but what I need.

You are the quiet moments that give me peace and bring joy to my heart.
