I Should Mean More

by Ryu   Jun 6, 2011

Your voice echoes in my dreams
As I close my eyes to my narcotic bliss
And I know this romance is never ending
Excuses still escape my lips
So I find a way to bring you home
Float in the way you make me whole
But I should mean more
I should mean more to me

Smiles are to tempting
And hopes as good as lies
If this is love then kill me now
And save me from my life

I'm falling and I'm crying
I'm tumbling down the hole
The curtain calls for Wonderland
And Alice steals the show

She tiptoes through the meadows
And whispers in my ear
Promising a false sense of security
That always draws me near
With stories and alibis
To cover up my fears;
I should mean more to me
