Petty Jealousy

by Chasing Butterflies   Jun 8, 2011

Unbidden animocity
Surges through my
Trembling frame;
Why must your arm circle her undeserving stature?

The Reigns of Sanity shatter
Simultaneously with my blackened heart.
Its fragile frame just cannot
Take the absence of your warmth.

I fall to pieces bit by bit,
Relinquishing all that I am
To the foolish idea that
Someday you might love me too.
