Elbow

by Ironic Allure   Jun 9, 2011

The tears, they fell
like soft blows
one, two, three
you hollowed me out, turned my insides around
somehow that makes it worse
i made a plan
i took a deep breath and i let it go
it didn't work.
my heart was beating
inside of my head inside of my mind
exploding.
the tears, they fell
like soft blows
two, three, four
you shook the bones of me
shifted everything i ever believed and you
oh how you disappointed me.
'i can only think it must be love'
i made a plan
i took a deep breath and let it go
here it comes.
the tears, they fell
like soft blows.
hello my old friend
you almost missed it all.
