Color Blind

by Ivan Kushnir   Jun 13, 2011

I am color blind
plain days pass by
face emotionless
hour after hour
time slips by

i am ready
made my mind
i am color blind
hope slowly dies

streets are empty
that I walk on
gloomy weather
all i see
leaves crumble
underneath me walking
soaked from the rain
no color
none surrounds me

another day
just spent on walking
down the same road
i did before
but this time
in this distance
almost haunting
i see your face
and nothing more

our eyes lock in
towards each other
you smile at me
my heart stops

new heart is born
one made from your half
the half you gave
to save my soul

color is all
all that I see now
now that my eyes
have seen your face

i am there standing
i am there ready
i am there waiting
i am yours
