Ambivalent's own Civil War

by Freeze Tyler   Jun 14, 2011

I don't know what I want sometimes,
But I know what I don't want.
I don't want a girl that's too subtle,
Or too quick to be up front.
I want a girl that is beautiful,
And looks ok on the outside,
Not somebody lazy,
Or doesn't take care of themselves.
Now I don't know what I'm asking for,
But I know what I'm not asking.
I'm not asking for you to be kind to me,
Or for you to be blind to you model.
I want you to be strong for me,
I want you to be fit for survival.
I'm not asking for you to love me,
But I want you to love Love.
And I want you to love your beliefs,
And I want love to be above
The things that don't matter;
Materials and nonsense,
And I want you to follow your finger sense,
Instead of the ones from your eyes,
And your ears will fail you too...
Our ears fail us all,
But the things we feel will pick us up,
Even when we fall.
Now I'm not about to fall for you,
Because I don't know what I want,
But I know I don't play pretend,
Let me past your fronts.
I want to feel the real you,
I want to feel your heart,
I want to watch your lungs become the wings,
And for your heart to take off.
Ok so I do know what I want,
I want you to feel soft;
Just physically not mentally;
I want you to be strong.
Now I don't know what all I want,
But I know just what I need,
I don't need you to be full of froth,
But I need you to be sweet.
