For Some Reason...

by Ariena   Jun 14, 2011

For some reason,
The sun no longer shines,
It is becoming an annoyance,
Like a baby that wines.

For some reason,
The air is harder to breathe,
It is drowning up my lungs,
As if I were in the sea.

For some reason,
The jokes aren't funny, they're hurting,
They are all worn out,
Or my laugh box isn't working.

For some reason,
When I look in the mirror,
My frown lines are increasing,
My jaw is sore, trying to smile is unpleasing.

For some reason,
You no longer call every night,
Singing to me, no worries,
Everything is gonna be alright.

For some reason,
Your kisses no longer dance inside me,
They wither for a second, pause,
And flee.

For some reason,
Seeing your face makes me sick,
It never tracks me away anymore,
I no longer get lost inside of it.

For some reason,
There is no longer the love I had once before,
It's gone now, fed up,
I doesn't want anymore.

So I pack my bags, leaving you a note that says Don't forget to lock the door.
