In between you

by sherri arthur   Jun 21, 2011

Chasing a dream
having fun gleefully
nothing to gain
nothing to waste
riding on dreams
to get you there
grabbing a hold
of the time you spear
chasing a dream
to get you their
finding yourself
within you
that can be in between
what can you gain
is it to much
or to late
for you
for love
or hate
is it to late
or is it fate
What is it
nothing there
but hope
but dreams
is it to late
for you
for your dreams
that is in between
The life you need
The life you want
Is it to late
to go for what
your life brings
to the plate
that is in
your heart
between the light
and the dark

is it in the right place

    Hi Sherri
I just read your poem between you, though I don't write many poems of sadness, this is really one of asking rather than of sadness, it is never too late for anything, love marriage close friendships, learning, caring, sharing, though I suppose some would say that there are certain circumstances that say it is too late, but to me they are fatalists rather than optimists, hope all your dreams, wants and needs all come to you. your friend in poetry Harry Bryant
