GUIDING LIGHT

by Brix Ambray   Jun 23, 2011

I just want to be ambitious-
I want to be the sun
I want to guide you with my ray and light
And with my scorching heat-
burn with me.

If being the sun is forbidden-
I want to be the moon
I want to guide you with my romantic light
With my precious kiss-
dream with me all night.

If it would take that moonlight fades-
Then I want to be the stars
I want to give you billions of glow
And in the clouds fold we shall peek
Experiencing love, playing hide and seek.

And if everything at sky's a doom,
Wanna be on earth's bounded haven
I'll be the street lamp guiding the path
Of young and old lovers walking the lane
And with you, just wanna do the same.

If heaven would not permit-
then I want to be a little candle
I would dare to light the world
And in the dark, I promise..
You won't fall and stumble.

If being the sun, moon, stars, street lamp, little candle be not for me..
These guiding light can be offered by somebody
I'll be a firefly humbly let it be
With all my might, I'll be your light
I will guide and stand with you at your weakest,
fearful and darkest night.

Lots of emotions, deep abiding love. I love the image, using clear and deep personifications. Thank you.
