My battle

My battle has only begun and
the world isnt what its meant to be
as my veil of innocence disappears

a world full of death and degrading
greed has revealed a lifetime of
sorrow and the path set before me
pulls me deeper into the darkness

and all i can see is a glittering light
in the distance like little pieces
of heaven in a sea of chaos.
