Hiding

by Molly   Jun 29, 2011

(Keep in mind that I do not cut, nor will I ever. I think that cutting is a very serious issue and should be handled. I don't know why but these words just came to me.)

She hides her wrists
From everyone's sight
Because she cuts herself
When she's alone at night.
She looks at her scars,
She looks at the razor
And then she starts to think
That no one will save her.
"No one cares."
She says as she creates
Another scar
But then she thinks,
"Have I gone too far?"
She doesn't know how else
To deal with the pain
She's broken inside
Her tears fall like rain.
She wants to stop cutting
But then she starts to think
About how lonely she is
Then she has another drink.
She drinks to feel better
But that never works
So she takes a sharp razor
To heal the hurt.
Her pain is deep inside
Where no one can see
She wants it gone
So she can be free.
